Are my files safe?

Absolutely. Your PDF files are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No files are ever uploaded to any server. Your documents never leave your device, making PDFinator one of the most private PDF tools available.

Is PDFinator really free?

Yes, PDFinator is completely free with no hidden costs. There are no premium features locked behind a paywall, no limits on file sizes, and no restrictions on how many times you can use it.

Do I need to create an account?

No. PDFinator works without any registration or login. Just open the website and start using the tools immediately. No email, no password, no account needed.

What about encrypted PDFs?

PDFinator supports password-protected PDF files. If your PDF is encrypted, you will be prompted to enter the password. Once unlocked, you can use all tools as normal. The password is used only locally in your browser.

What browsers are supported?

PDFinator works in all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera. It works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no fixed file size limit. Since processing happens in your browser, the limit depends on your device's available memory. Most devices can handle PDFs up to several hundred megabytes without issues.
